Gender Reveal PLUS Scan From 15 weeks Appointment time: 15 minutes Approximately 5 - 10 minutes of scan time A special opportunity to discover whether you’re expecting a little boy or girl, while also carrying out basic fetal wellbeing checks and enjoying a sneak peek of your baby in 4D. What’s included? Basic fetal wellbeing checks, including: -Visualisation of your baby’s heartbeat -Baby’s position -Visualisation of the fetal stomach and bladder -Assessment that baby’s growth is within the expected range for your gestation -Assessment of amniotic fluid levels -2 thermal prints -1 glossy 4D print -Personal gender reveal - choose our gender reveal lights or receive your result privately in an envelope -Medium heartbeat bear of your choice. Large bears are an additional £5. -Gender reveal item of your choice, including a small confetti cannon, smoke cannon or 3 scratch cards Your scan is carried out by HCPC-registered sonographers with NHS experience, including experience within obstetrics. Gender accuracy We quote gender accuracy of up to 99.9%, depending on gestation, baby's position and image quality. Gender cannot always be confirmed on the day, particularly if baby is in an unfavourable position. If we’re unable to confidently determine the gender, we’ll offer to rebook your appointment free of charge. Before your appointment Please attend with a full bladder, as this may improve the chance of obtaining clear images and identifying baby's gender. If you have a raised BMI, we recommend waiting until at least 17 weeks, as image quality and gender visibility may be reduced at earlier gestations. Important information This scan includes basic fetal wellbeing observations but is not a diagnostic anomaly scan, and not all abnormalities can be identified at this early stage. Private scans are designed to complement, not replace, your routine NHS pregnancy care and screening. Please continue to attend all recommended NHS appointments.
